Posted on an Embroidery List - I am getting ready to make my first red work quilt… …I will be embroidering the Quilting Circles from Angie Spong's collection on the quilt. While I'm on the subject of Angie, I wanted to let everyone know that I found a wonderful place with "to die for" embroideries! I ended up ordering ALL of Angie's package designs! Every design is exquisite! I happened upon her web site when I was surfing… She is from New Zealand and does her designs using the Pfaff PCS software… She e-mail's your patterns to you in the format you request within 24 hours. Congratulations on the new website, the changing designs are brilliant and I love the email bird!. The advent of machine embroidery has unleashed a creative talent that seems to have no bounds and the web has united home sewers around the world as no other instrument could, but in terms of quality and 100% stitch-out reliability I think your designs are outstanding. I love the way they mix and match and decided to test my mettle before embarking on "The Quilt". I mixed Adornment and Lilac Lace for cushions and in a set of Four Seasons tray cloths, I chose Chrissie from the Scrollery collection in white-on-white for winter. Friends love the classic elegance of the designs (which incidentally make ME look like a professional!)
Have been to your site lots of times and just sent it to a friend but hate to admit had never read the comments others have made. I too want to share how wonderful your designs are ( I have several sets and more to order soon). They stitch out so beautifully. So far my favorite is the Heirloom. I have done some of the designs on a linen shirt with same color thread and a wing needle. As someone else mentioned, your no nonsense site is appreciated. Keep the designs coming. After the holidays I would like to tackle a tablecloth like the one featured on your site.
Angie, Your designs are beautiful. I just love Rebecca and Adornment which I purchased towards the later end of last year. I have just bought the new Machine Embroidery Magazine and found Fancify which I love. It is beaut to have projects offered with your designs. I am not very imaginative and these projects really help and inspire me. I now have the Bernina 180 so have ordered these designs in .art format. Keep up the good work, your article in this Machine Embroidery was the sole reason for me buying the magazine.
I have always admired your work that I have seen in the Machine Embroidery magazines and have used your free designs many times. I am now fully addicted to machine embroidery and would love to attempt to make the "Adorned with Flowers" tablecloth. Thanks for your inspirations.
I purchased it, very well done. Since I teach the P C Designer software at the dealers, I was most interested in your approach. .......... My problem is I am not an artist. I need to depend on someone else's art work. I have finished 2 of the doilies made from your fancify. Love them. Stitch out absolutely to perfection. Thank you for the registry stitches.
